Biography[]
Before Strumlotts[]
At some point, Randy was taken from his previous life and led down a roguish path with The Nowhere Men. Because of this, he never learned how to read. He also can only count to 20, using his fingers and toes. He also knows thieves cant and is awesome at fantasy pictionary. Before that, he lived with his family in the Hemp Hills.
Personality[]
Randy is roguish and unpredictable. His alignment is chaotic evil, which in this case is taken to be a fun-loving trickster who's always looking for ways to have a little 'fun'.
Randy is shown to hide his past and his feelings. When he does talk about them, he usually does so in an off-handed way.
Story[]
Welcome to Strumlotts and Tuning Up[]
Randy arrives, along with the other new students, at the entrance to Strumlotts. He and the others are given a form to fill out by Brenda McDade, but being illiterate he sneaks into her office and asks for her help in filling it out.
On completing the form, he returns to the rest of the group, and eventually gets sorted into Group A, along with Yashee and Raz'ul, under the tutelage of Symbol. After getting their first mission, the group heads to Durden's Punch Bowl, where they encounter an annoying classmate, Gareth. After Raz'ul and Yashee frustrate him to storming out of the bar, Randy finishes it off by booting him out the door with Mage Hand, in the process revealing that he is joined with a small wizard. After a brief conversation with the barkeeper, they are approached by Wesley, with whom they agree to travel in order to get new Strings for Raz'ul. After participating in and winning a fight in the Punch Bowl's basement fighting arena (as well as being asked to never come back again), Randy and the others leave for Silkgrove the following morning. After arriving and procuring new string Raz'ul restrings his guitar. When Raz'ul tests out the new strings his guitar, along with Yashee's mallets and Randy's organ begin to glow. However this moment is disrupted by a crashing sound from downstairs. Wesley then reveals that some of his experiments have gotten loose, and offers six sapphires for the bards to clean up the mess. Randy asks if they have any magical properties, to which Wesley answers "No, they do not." Either way, Randy and the others accepts and begin to fight the two large phase spiders. During the fight Randy gets stabbed in the stomach and attempts to fend of one of the spider's with a broom. After defeating the spider, Randy and the other bards go to tell Wesley the news only to find the door locked, with the only opting being heading further into the cave. Eventually the bards come across a cave filled with cages and, to their surprise Wesley holding a spider scepter. Wesley tells them to submit to his experiments, which Randy and the others refuse. During the fight Randy notices that their instruments are glowing and suggests writing a song to combat the Ettercap they are up against. After the song destroys the Ettercap, Wesley runs away. After finding a way out of the basement, Randy aides Raz'ul in playing a prank on Yashee involving Wesley's portable hole. Upon returning to Strumlotts, Randy along with the rest of the group (now called "Chaos Sauce") go to discuss the events with Headmistress Alola in her office. When Alola asks Randy what he wants to get out of Sumlotts he responds that he wants to recover his original destiny that was stolen from him, being a musician. The arc ends with Randy and the rest of Chaos Sauce heading back to their dorm rooms. |

Basom[]
On the way to Basom, the bards are stopped by a Figure from Randy’s past: Rhiannon, a Nowhere Man. Randy and Rhiannon exchange some heated and loaded words before engaging in battle. After preforming an ensemble song and incapacitating Rhiannon, Randy fails a wisdom save against Eddie and moves to the fallen half-elf. Urged by Eddie, Randy draws his dagger and moves to slice her neck. Rhiannon luckily pulls herself out of the song-induced trance to move enough so the dagger only slices off two of her fingers. When Randy comes to, he realizes what he has done but his memory of the event is foggy.
